Photography

Photography has always been an art form that has drawn and resonated with me — however, I wasn't challenged to take it seriously until the Spring of 2023 when I took a Photography class. These collections are samples of my proudest work in those months.

"Duality In Focus"

In exploring light and darkness, this project delves into the interplay of contrasts, highlighting natural textures and the unseen details within the spaces where light and dark converge. These images capture the balance between brightness and shadow, showing how light shapes form and how darkness adds depth.

"Naturescapes"

This series celebrates the simplicity and grandeur of natural landscapes, offering a moment of stillness and reflection through the lens.

"Light In Motion"

This collection (my personal favorite) of dancing lights explores how slow shutter speeds can paint interesting streaks and illumination within the frame. Using a shutter speed of 15-30 seconds, I use my lens as a brush to obtain the most abstract imagery I have discovered.

"Wish You Were Here"

Perfect for sharing or as a reminder to embrace life’s little surprises, this collection is all about the playful and serene parts of life. Through vibrancy and cheerfulness, each image features a playful focal point that invites fun or curiosity. Whether a brightly colored object or a quirky detail, this series brings a lighthearted charm to the frame, making each photo elude a sense of contentment.

"Ghostly Expressions"

This project was tasked with capturing singular emotions without the aid of facial expressions. The goal was to depict compassion, serenity, grief, and insecurity.
