Throughout my college career, I dabbled in various writing endeavors within the Communication department. During my freshman year, I spent one semester contributing to the school newspaper, "The Southern," before moving on to podcasting. Further, I got a taste for press releases through my writing-focused classes and a remote internship with the Los Angeles New Media Film Festival. This later translated into my role for a student-led initiative, Morning Grind, where I wrote releases for the opening. I also wrote articles for Morning Grind's LinkedIn to share with our patrons and followers.
